When I Started:
Jan, 2009
How I Started:
Something clicked inside and I knew it was do or die.
Why I Love It:
I just feel better when Im taking care of myself and that shows to other people.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about family members who died at at relatively young ages from preventable diseases. And I think of my dad who,at 59,had double bypass surgery due to an unhealthy lifestyle.
I want to live a healthy life and be happy in my own skin.
Goal (Long):
I have been overweight most of my life and I'm ready to change that. Of course,I want to look good and feel good about myself, but more than that,I want to live a long and healthy life. There are numerous health problems on BOTH sides of my family and I would like to avoid those if at all possible. I want a body that not only can I be proud of,but when people look at me,they realize how hard I have worked for that body. I really think a trim, fit body is pretty indicative of what a hard worker you are and how determined you are to achieve your goals.

Havent been able to train the way I want......and it sucks!! My knee had really been bothering me and I was ordered(by my doctor) to take 2 weeks off. I told him staying out of the gym for two weeks was out of the question. 2 weeks will turn into 2 months if I do that. I have been in...
Hey SassyG. Stick with it, the pain will slowly go and every day will get easier with motivation. Soon, you'll be getting a high out of this. Good food, good workouts. Good luck!
