I've always been very active. I ran track in high school so I'm naturally energy-driven and full of adrenaline! I was a regular at the gym, but not really following a program. Ray (now a good friend of mine and regular workout buddy) approached me. He saw potential because I was fairly strong for a skinny girl! He convinced me to compete and has been training me ever since.
Why I Love It:
To look good, feel good, and be strong!
How I Stay Motivated:
Having an upcoming competition on my calendar always keeps me focused, but during my "off-season" I find myself feeling sluggish if I stray away from training too long so I try to avoid that at all costs.
BB Accomplishments:
The week prior to my last show, I reached 11% bodyfat! But I must say, having the opportunity to compete has been beyond amazing. I have accomplished so many things I never imagined I could. That has truly been the most rewarding experience in my life.
I love to compete, but my goal is to NEVER sell myself short.
Goal (Long):
I compete in Fitness and Figure. I am a veteran of the Women's Tri-Fitness and have also competed in the NPC Las Vegas Classic. I don't obsess over winning but I want to always be the best that I can. I like to run fast, jump high, and lift hard! I train at "Old School" Gold's Gym in Las Vegas on Flamingo/Sandhill. However, I plan on leaving Vegas in 2009 and the hardest part for me will be to not lose motivation in training and competing. I know it will be hard, my entire fitness network lies within my gym...
