Nutrition is KEY to any goal! High protein diet and carb diet, slowly decreasing my intake on carbs and increasing my protein. Right now I'm doing 20% fat, 45% Carbs and 35% Protein, 1750 calories a day.
Lean meats, no cheese, no milk (almond milk only), greek yogurt, fish, lotsssss of chicken breast, brown rice, sweet potatoes, quinoa, ALMONDS!, endless amounts of fresh veggies. I tend to keep everything organic and I read labels. Rule of thumb: If I have no idea what is listed on the ingredients list or I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it. My "diet" is STRICT!
6 meals a day! 1 gallon of water!
I use an app on my phone to track how much I'm eating/drinking and to see if I need to get any other nutrients in my body as the day goes on. I don't drink ANYTHING besides water and my protein shakes.
Cheat meals once every 10 days if I allow myself, and I substitute homemade protein brownies if I have cravings. Fruit intake is lower then normal because let's face it, sugar is sugar, same as fat, I allow myself A LOT of good fat (avocado, nuts) but still not going overboard just because it is "good" fat.
meal 1 - always steel cut oats, sometimes egg whites and veggies or or my "turkey egg muffins"
meal 2 - (snack) almond butter or fruit with multi grain toast
meal 3 - usually protein/herbalife shake
meal 4- good carbs (quinoa, brown rice, sweet pot) with mixed veggies, usually chicken
meal 5 - (snack) either a half portion of meal 4 or protein shake, depending on the day
meal 6 - usually the same as meal 4
I don't really stick to this routine but I'm just giving you an idea of what I usually do.

Jumping on the new supplement bandwagon of Herbalife!
I'm testing out Herbalife for about a month-2 months. I've started the Herbalife Advanced Weightloss program which includes:
-Total control (for metabolism) 2x a day w/ meal
-Cell-U-Loss (for appearance of dimpled skin and fluid retention) 3x a day w/ meal
-Multivitamin 3x a day w/ meal
-Herabl Tea concentrate (for energy, I usually take in the morning, mix it with my green tea!)
-Fromula 1 Shake (meal replacement, but I use it as a snack replacement with a scoop of protein)
-Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% natural whey protein (5lb of Strawberry, Vanilla, & Chocolate! I<3 Variety)
-Glutamine (but because I have such a high protein diet, I only take half the serving it suggest)
