Thank you for the nice comment! I started in December and couldn't squat 135, now I can do 12 reps of 145 and my goal is to squat 500 soon! That would be nuts! I have always been strong but never trained to be stronger, so I think the learning curve was in my favor :)

I haven't been training to max effort squat yet, still doing it for reps. I am just learning the powerlifting stance so today I only did 125 for 8 reps.

Thank you so much for dropping by! You know you've been a good friend to me ever since I first joined bodyspace. always complimenting and encouraging, the best thing to do. Thank you for the compliment. That picture is from June, and there are others in the progress pics from that time when I went to observe Junior Nationals. I've been doing exactly that, hitting them hard since then, and my goal is exactly as you encourage. Thank you so much for your friendship, I treasure it

Thanks Sam, it's comments like yours that keep me motivated and working hard in the gym. And, I don't think I'm really all that strong, I just have pretty strong legs- I think it comes from all the gymnastics and track I used to do. Take care!
