How I Started:
I overheard that the weight room would be open one day at a club meeting freshman year of high school. I went a few times, got very sore...and with a little encouragement, I stuck with it. Been lifting ever since (minus a few breaks where I start to lose it). Trained mostly for high school sports until senior year, where I entered my first powerlifting competition.
Why I Love It:
Amazing stress relief. It beats running (although I do more than my share of that as well). Makes 'living' easier.
How I Stay Motivated:
Not really a problem, but...changing workouts alot...throwing in completely new exercises that a few years ago I would've considered pointless.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Eat often. Don't be full, but don't ever be hungry. Moderation w/ cheat food. No soda. Mustard, not mayonnaise. Basic stuff. Watch sodium intake.
