I want to get rid of the excess fat on my body and gain size and strength. I want to get back to an energetic and youthful feeling.
I want folks to look at me and think, "Now there's a guy who takes care of his self. He looks great! I wish I looked like that."
Shoulder surgery complete. Had a complete rotator cuff tear. Rehab to start in 3 weeks. Hope all goes well with that. Anyone out there with rotator cuff repair and rehab advice/stories to share? Please let me know.
Just went through rotator cuff surgery on one shoulder and will have to have the other done in a few weeks. Didn't your surgeon give you a pain pump and have you use the ice water machine? You wouldn't have been in any pain if he had. Hope your recovery goes well. It is a ssslllooowwww process to recover.
You will do better than where I am. Shoot for Nick Edge. I'm giving the pec deck a try tonight--really testing the shoulder. My workouts over the last two weeks have become so much more intense. I'm getting into this.

Thanks man. I'm losing bf, so I'm learning how important diet is. Regarding shoulder pain, I've taken it easy for about 5 weeks and yesterday I was back benching 250, 3x12, with no pain. Your shoulder will come back.

hi sweetie im doing well..just got in from the gym.. sore i worked my butt off yesterday and today..im sore from back workouts yesterday i did an hour and an hour cadio.. today was cardio an hour and an hour legs and abs.. did squats on the smith machine..so now im sore upper and bottom torso and the whole body..but hell im on a roll right now i've got no time to waste... hope your doing great today..lol

Don't skip breakfast. Eat right after you finish your fasting cardio. You need to eat to keep the metabolism running. Eat 5-6 small meals/day. No processed food. Search "clean diet" in the forums.
People on this site told me cardio burns fat, but only at two times--fasting first thing in the a.m., and after lifting. In both instances, glycogen levels are low so the body burns fat for fuel. Cardio at other times has value, but it won't burn fat.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU WORKING OUT ON THE HEAT.. YOU COULD HAVE A STROKE.. IT IS DANGEROUS.. I'D RATHER WORKOUT IN DOORS.. IF YOU CAN NOT AFFORD A THREADMILL BUY A JUMP ROAP..AND DO 20 MINS OF IT.. OR BUY SOME FITNESS VIDEOS.. BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS CHECK OUT FOR PRICES AT SOME HEALTH PLACES.. I PAY $30 MONTHLY ON GOLDS GYM..I THINK ITS CHEAP..LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU DO..LOL
