When I Started:
How I Started: Fell in love with lifting while training for softball in college. I got lots of help & advice from old school lifters & football players - you don't see that anymore.
Why I Love It: I love to lift heavy - it's exhilirating. Working out keeps me feeling strong & confident; and I find it mentally relaxing.
How I Stay Motivated: Keeping focused on my enjoyment of the workout and seeing my body change.

Main Goal: Gain Muscle
Goal (Short): Lose fat. Gain muscle.
Goal (Long): I once trained to near contest condition when I was 30. One heart attack and 15 years later, I want to get back to my ideal bodyweight and reassert my health. I still have a fairly decent base of muscle so I know I can make the transformation. I'm committed to achieving my perfect health and bodyfat % by June 2008!
Weight Goal: I want to LOSE 60 lb

After I sent Brad a video of Mike Mentzer illustrating HIt leg training, he suggested we train legs today using HIT.  Needless to say, my legs were BURNING throughout the workout, which was short, but sweet.  More HIT - and bigger legs - to come!  :)
