Got my first introduction to weight lifting in high school and then was told that girls couldn't lift weights. So I started as soon as I could and haven't stopped since.
Why I Love It:
The thrill of seeing my body change and get stronger keeps me going. One thing about the weight: it's true...it doesn't lie, it just is, and you can either deal with it or quit. It's a great stress reliever, too.
How I Stay Motivated:
Keeping focused on my enjoyment of the workout and seeing my body change.

Thank you so very much. I have tried to do my best this past year, not only physically but also emotionally & spiritually. My progress was achieved with the help of wonderful people such as yourself whose praise and kind words kept me focused and determined. I aspire to be an example of the kind of transformation that can be managed by people of all ages, no matter what their starting physical condition.
