How I Started:
I gave birth and my body was like jello, so I decided I wasn't going to use my just giving birth as an excuse to why I'm overweight UPDATE: I must get back where I was. I has some health problem but I feel like I have the energy to lose the weight I gained!
Why I Love It:
it makes me feel strong
How I Stay Motivated:
my husband has proven to me that he loves me unconditionaly and i want to look good to him for that reason...not to mention I want to be healthy for myself and children

I want to be more than just thin...when people look at me I want them to know I worked hard to be fit.
Goal (Long):
I've always wanted to be fit...for as long as I can remember I've always wanted to be in tip top shape. But my mother never taught me how to eat right, or how to take care of myself for that matter. I grew up over weight and unhappy. In 8th grade I was so ashamed of my body, I had no friends and I had the lowest self esteem ever! Now in my 30's and i am learning how to eat right! I have 4 daughters that I want to teach the importance of taking care of yourself. Last year I gave birth to my daughter who just turned 1. I weighed 207 pounds a couple months after giving birth. I made a promise to myself to get in shape, without any fad diets, without complaining. I lost 42 pounds so far and I have 29 to go! I'm still learning though. I want to have muscle I want to be strong! Hopefully I can be at my best shape ever by the end of this year. update 8/6/09: I gained weight due to some health issues but I now feel like I have the energy to get back on track! I have to lose the weight I gained and then some!

Well, this has been a complete struggle for me all my life but now that I am in my 30's it has become very important that my family and I try to lead a healthy life style...we don't eat take out food ...more

Okay I have had a very difficult 3 years with many ups and downs. I gave birth in 2006 lost all the weight i gained and more....was very happy.....until in late 2007 i had my gallbladder removed and a month later I had kidney stones. I was in so much pain, I had to be hospitalized to so they...

I'm up two pounds from last week...very frustrating, I haven't done anything to make it go up...only on second week of my new thyroid workout/diet. I need to see faster results in order to stay motivated. GRRRR
