How I Started:
I gave birth and my body was like jello, so I decided I wasn't going to use my just giving birth as an excuse to why I'm overweight
Why I Love It:
it makes me feel strong
How I Stay Motivated:
my husband has proven to me that he loves me unconditionaly and i want to look good to him for that reason...not to mention I want to be healthy for myself and children

I noticed in this pic that my shoulders are starting to look more defined!
I want to be more than just thin...when people look at me I want them to know I worked hard to be fit.
Goal (Long):
I've always wanted to be fit...for as long as I can remember I've always wanted to be in tip top shape. But my mother never taught me how to eat right, or how to take care of myself for that matter. I grew up over weight and unhappy. In 8th grade I was so ashamed of my body, I had no friends and I had the lowest self esteem ever! Now in my 30's and i am learning how to eat right! I have 4 daughters that I want to teach the importance of taking care of yourself. Last year I gave birth to my daughter who just turned 1. I weighed 207 pounds a couple months after giving birth. I made a promise to myself to get in shape, without any fad diets, without complaining. I lost 42 pounds so far and I hvae 29 to go! I'm still learning though. I want to have muscle I want to be strong! Hopefully I can be at my best shape ever by the end of this year.
I have a confession, it's been months since I regularly worked out. I have many many reasons why I haven't gone. All of them are good....my latest reason....I had gallbladder surgery about 3 weeks ago...now my membership ran out at the Y...i'm sooooo broke....me and hubby can't afford to renew...
i guess i am doing ok. i have been enjoying all the summertime junk food. cheeseburgers, ice cream, chips. you know, all the good stuff! i am sure that you are not eating any of those things, right? haha!
Hey.. how are ya.. Doing great.. I'm 16 weeks out starting TOMORROW.. scary... ewww...LOL New diet tomorrow.. training is good, getting harder tho.. But all good.. i'm seeing results.. :) Thanks for dropping by.. How's the girls.. :)
thanks for commenting on my picture. i really appreciate it. i still have alot of work to do, but i am slacking right now. work is killing me, and i have more time to concentrate on my workouts in the winter time, so the plan is to maintain until then. how have you been feeling lately?
wow, you are making some great progress! way to go! you are doing an awesome job, i am sure that you and your family are very proud. it sure is alot of work, but sooo worth it! congrats to you!
