Background
I started working out as a teen, with nothing but a bench and barbell set. I had nothing but a Golds Gym exercise manual that I begged my mom to but me. I was on a path of good gains when cancer struck. This destroyed my physique and for 3-4 years I was unable to exercise. The dream took a backseat to trying to arrange my life. Now at 40 I want the body I left behind. As well as to compete and show others that it is never to late to follow a dream.
Bodybuilding has been such a blessing to me. It's helped me beat disease, addiction @ depression. The satisfaction I get from a good workout tops any artificial stimulus I ever used. Fitness is a lifesaver and I'll continue on the path to competition as long as I am able.

I finally have gotten my chest training dialed in and today I broke my bench press record by 10 lbs, so I'm excited. Starting to see some substantial gain in muscle mass as well as some fat loss. Looking forward to summer and being shredded. Have almost achieved my wt. gain goal; one more lb. to go. Tendon inflammation in my elbow has made the heavy pressing days painful, but I've managed to keep it under control. Taking Animal flex packs daily, and using wraps. As far as diet goes, I keep it simple. Beef, rice, broccoli and eggs
