Need more muscle all around. The problem is that I have to much fat on my abs and waist... and not enough muscle on my upper body and calves. The July 2009 photos don't lie.
At 15% bodyfat... the goal is to add way more muscle then drop my body fat to 8-6%.
Eat, Lift, Sleep.
Basics. with 20 - 30 mins of cardio 3 times a week. Sounds simple.
Let's do it.
He's Doing it BIG on stage. When I get my more mass, I hope to get as much definition as he does. Just look at his pics and you'll see what I'll look like with lots of protein and lots of iron lifting. MUCH RESPECT.
My friends have been telling me that I look bigger. And I tell them, that it's Eating... but the other half of the story has been Compound Exercises. Over the last 3 wks I've been only doing Full Out Compound workouts when I hit the gym.
3 x 8-10 reps Heavy Heavy stuff... but with good form....
For the next 6 - 12wks it's the basics. 3 days a week full body circuit as described in Robert Kennedy's Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding. Chapter 26. Beginner routines.
lol, funny. I drew up a mind map of my training goals and regiment last month. I'm supposed to be revising it tonight when I get back from the gym but we'll see how that goes.
You'll know what you're after soon enough.
good stuff! heavy lifting is fun...longer rest periods, less reps. I did that a few weeks ago to bump up my strength and overall power which it did! Now, i'm back to high volume, moderate reps (8-12 reps), tons of super sets!
