December 2008 was the beginning of my first breaking point. My husband and I took up ballroom dance classes. I was out of breath and trying to breathe! It was difficult for me to keep up. I was out of shape and I felt miserable. I wasn't as serious about losing weight at that time, but I was getting to my breaking point to where enough was enough.
So, when I hit my highest weight of 276 pounds in January '09, I'm like okay, I'm unhappy, unhealthy, and I hate how I look like, all fat!! It's time for a change...
Well, I just did it! I wanted to make a lifestyle change.
My husband loves me for who I am, but I'm doing this for me!
It'll be a plus for him though :D
I've made a commitment to my body, to my future, and to my life.
Why I Love It:
Working out makes me feel better and feels like I'm accomplishing something.
It's my stress reliever!!! :D
The gym is my addiction!
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation...I GOTS THIS!!! LOL
Imagining me being fit, happy, healthy, and wearing that Army uniform :D
People working out around me, and seeing them accomplish what they want.
"The Biggest Loser" the people on that show are awesome!!
Put on my determined face, focus on what I'm doing, and I push myself!

WOW, you have lost alot of weight. Your face looks different and your shape is getting thinner. YOu have done and outstanding job. Your husband must be proud! Stay motivated!
I hear ya!!! Weekends are light workouts and cardio for me. I am doing resistance tubes and abs tonight and cardio tomorrow. What is ur workout for Monday?

Thanks sweety. So looks like you have a game planned already set out for yourself. I am proud of you that you made it thise far and you still strive to keep going that girl power self motiviation. Add some red grapfruit to your diet half in the morning with your breakfast and the other during your lunch.
I just looked at your weight status cause it popped up on the home page. I am not sure what you look like now as opposed to your last progress pic, but don't worry. This could be changes in the muscle structure. It can also be the result of the ever dreaded plateau effect. My advice is keep pushing through this. You will have fluctuations that will go either way so don't worry right away!

Just wanted to let you know that your waistline and neckline appear to be getting smaller. I noticed it in your second progress pic compared to your last. You are doing a great job. Your husbands jaw will hit the floor when he comes home! Stay with it and remember to pace yourself, diet and exercise both! Stay motivated!
