So, Friday when I last posted I THOUGHT I was heading out of work for UBWO. Just as I reached for the shutdown icon my day job boss strolls in with a “OH! Good you’re still here!” No good can EVER come from that at day’s end on a Friday! Turns out there was some systems upgrade scheduled for the weekend he didn’t trust so he desired a detailed report get cranked out that would normally run happily in the background around Midnight. Okay, so lately my blogging has been sporadic at best. You can rest assured that the vast majority of days the iron has gotten ground &/or cardio has gotten pounded! Back in Early June I had an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to check out my cranky right knee that had been crunching, popping & really affecting my former passionate zeal for leg days! That knee got folded shut tight & hard 12ish years ago in a minor hunting accident but of course I was too bullheaded to get it... Go to BodyBlog

Whew! What a trip it’s been!!! So last week I had business travels that carried me to the upper central portion of the U.S. & luckily timing worked out so that Suz was able to join in the fun! Monday morning I pulled out of my drive at 4AM in order to meet a couple time based objectives; (1) meet Suz as close to on time as possible when her flight arrived in Chicago around 1:30 PM & (2) catch the Harley-Davidson museum in time for a quick tour before they closed at 6PM! Okay, so it’s been a caarraazzyy week! Had Monday & Tuesday evenings off from the side job but have also had a full blown FDA on site audit going on at the day job all week which always adds a completely different stress level in ANY medical device setting! As you may have already read, Monday morning I hit legs as week 4 called for then chilled around the grill Monday evening.
