I played hs football for Cardinal Hayes hs in the bronx at 335lbs my senior year in 2003. Then took a couple of years off from lifting then started training using bodybuilding workouts in May of 2006. Once I started to eat like a bodybuilder I saw great results and decided to attempt to diet down for a bodybuilding show (NGA can/am in buffalo) I did a 17 week diet from 250lbs just to try to get in shape and ended up winning the novice overall on march 31st at 182lbs.
Why I Love It:
Its a lifestyle, I didn't choose to bodybuild, bodybuilding choose me!
How I Stay Motivated:
BB Accomplishments:
2007 NGA Natural can/am novice overall + best poser award!
2008 NGA Natural northeastern 2nd place heavy weight

hey! thanks so much! :) Well, unless I want to travel the next pro show around the area is in April. I want to take some time to continue to mature though, so a year wouldn't be bad. How about yourself?
Thanks Bro. I am taking from your Fit status that your not competing. I am unsure how I will fare this weekend. I've competed 2 weekends in a row. Tough to peak last week. Plus, training and cardio are getting tough. And Easter dinner I over ate, BAD! Too many deserts looking at me. Haha.. If you go to the show make sure to find me so we can BS..
Wow! I never knew you were over 300 lbs. Great transformation. So when are you coming up to Toronto Canada to compete : )

Well..I had some raisins in my bread pudding on the eve...does that count? lol! I still have my Christmas decor up until Los Reyes. It's not over until the wisemen show up!
Thank you. Hopefully you can have some pasteles for Thanksgiving..you've earned them! :0) Well I'm taking my supps and heading to bed now. Night Papi. Talk tomorrow or later in the week. Congratulations again.
That's what I'm sayin' Papi..spilled over...big time. Yuck. Hey..just watched the first video with you and the lightweight. How did he win with that back? I think my little girly muscles in my back even have more definition...lol! Thank you for the encouragement. Did u see my pics from 1 year ago..scary. I am in the city..downtown. If you compete in the city I'll come cheer you on ok?
Well..that explains a lot. Ridiculous if you ask me. Also, just a dside note, I think that guy was not even peaked properly. Didn't look dry. My nutrition coach is a peak week master for his competitors and himself. I haven't decided on whether or not to get into this sport for competition. Definitely prefer bb over figure. But I'm a tiny muscular girl..you know :0)
Nice work Papi. Watches the video. Hey that guy who got his procard had more chest size and front delts..I'll give him that...but your conditioning was FAR SUPERIOR! He wasn't even close in terms of conditioning. You made him look soft..the video /pics don't lie. Judging is such an odd thing.

hey Romer, I was 2nd in the novice lightweight and 4th in the open lightweight at the olympus and after watching the overall posedown on the dvd...I think you should have taken it. The open lightweight winner was good, but when he posed his body didn't change - your muscles pop when you flex...but anyway just giving you my opinion - keep your head up
