Back in 2005, I was a freshman in college and I was a fat lazy overweight like hell @ 230lbs. In my English class was this kid Dan and you could definitely tell he worked out and worked out smart. We became friends and he eventually invited me to workout with him and then I finally branched off into powerlifting later on.
Why I Love It:
I love being strong and stronger then normal people. I love the fact that I have the will power to control my diet and how I eat and that average people will never understand what I do because its not popular. I love that it makes me a better person each time I hit the gym. I love the feeling you get when you got double your bodyweight on your back, or in your hands. I love the feeling that I just smoked a lift that crushed me 2 weeks earlier. I love the smell of ammonia in the morning.
How I Stay Motivated:
By other people not doing what it takes, not putting in that extra rep or another 5lbs. By people wussing out early and never being what they want to be because they don't want the pain. I'm motivated by people who are stronger then me, or lighter then me putting up bigger numbers. I am motivated by my anger.
