How I Started:
When I retired I had ballooned up to 185 pounds of fat. Type2 diabetes developed. I went on the high protein/low carb diet and lost 35 pounds. Decided to put on some muscle, so I got the weights out and started lifting. I found scoobysworkshop on YouTUBE that encourages lifting at home. Then I found BodyBuilding.com and kicked my workout up a notch!!!

I have been bulking for 3 weeks. I have gained 5 lbs and abs have disappeared!!

Once again you have shown your support and friendship -- helping me learn how to do other things besides bodybuilding! Let's just hope I don't screw up when I go to upload the pictures. Sure enough, the research shows the at least 100 blood sugar level is optimum for exercise. Thanks for your help and support.

Roger, great work on you chest!!! Incredible gains in a short period...Keep working hard and watch you Diabettes and keep that in check (runs in my family too)...I haven't read your work-outs, are you working legs? Working the legs and back will make it easier to bulk up all over. Good luck, keep up the good work!
