Background

HOW I STARTED:

Too much snow and too cold to go running outside for this Florida boy, and the hotel has an arrangement with a local Planet Fitness gym so I decided to go there... and actually trying working out, not just the treadmills for cardio. Found out I could do it, decided I liked it!

WHY I LOVE IT:

Work off some energy, makes me feel good, makes me look good. I am not competitive but can compete with myself, so strength training and body building is good for that.

Go to Planet Fitness gym 4x week and run 2x week, usually mid-morning. No supplements (yet) but just try to eat and live healthy.

chromebones85 if your trying to build mass just stick with compound exercises like squats, deadlifts and bench press, cris gethin started out as a huge boy and just cut down in size. so just remember what works for one guy may not work for us hardgainers. keep up the good work and dont miss a workout! keep em short and to the point. no over training either so dont do biceps three days in a row lol lets build Rogerbudd! chromebones85 was gonna tell you also if your doing cris gethins 12 week i would look into maybe using less reps like say 5-8 8 being th emax you would want to do and just try add 2.5 to 5 pounds to every exercise each week or every other week, say if you can do more weight and can only hit 5 reps shoot for at least 6 or 7 reps on your last rep. have you heard of negative reps? chromebones85 do you do cardio right now? if so stop that completly, eat six meals a day and try fit in two to four protien drinks a day eat more and lift heavy dont workout for more than an hour at a time, dont think small either ya gotta think big my friend! lets do this! Dec 15, 2010 8:29pm
