How I Started:
I really got into working out late in my life. I was always a skinny guy with a decent build so I never really had to worry about working out to much. I could always eat whatever I wanted and I never had to worry about "getting fat" because my metabolism was always high. Then my best friend Ken (kendafriend) would always be talking about working out and sending me pictures of his results and his competitions and I became more interested. Not in body building but just in looking great. So I began hitting the gym and here I am.
Why I Love It:
I love looking and feeling great. I am in my 30's now so I cant rely on my youth and naturally skinny build to keep carrying me. Plus working out is a GREAT stress reliever.
How I Stay Motivated:
Results constantly keep me motivated. When I look in the mirror and see muscles that were not there before I get excited. Plus, I feel bad when I dont work out so its not hard for me to stay motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
I would have to say my major accomplishment has been getting my body fat percentage down to 11.5% and dropping. My goal is to get it down to less than 10%

Took this picture 11 May 08 right before I start my 6 week diet to get my body fat down to less than 10%. It is currently at 11.5% I will take weekly pics to show my progress
Updated ab shot. Been taking the last 2 weeks off to rest my body and cycle off these supplements. Cant wait to hit it back hard and well rested.

Goal (Long):
I plan on continuing to decrease my body fat percentage. On 3 March my body fat was at 12.9% With 6 hard weeks of diet and exercies I got it down to 11.5% along with losing about 7 pounds. I am going to diet again for another 6 weeks to hopefully get my body fat down to 10% or less while weighing in at a lean 175 pounds. Then I want to pack on about 10-15 pounds of muscle to eventually weigh about 185 pounds without the fat.
What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
BE PATIENT AND HAVE A PROPER DIET!! It is not all about weight lifting. Also do cardio!!

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I probably take about a minutes rest between each set. I am not one of those guys who times their rest periods. When I am ready then I hit the next set. LOL I know what you mean... that's the hardest part for me! I took a week off of training last week.. went to Vegas! I'm paying for it this week though!
Actually, that pic was taken from last year... I gained about 3 lbs or so since then. Not much difference, but i feel so pudgy nowadays and i need to get my act together! Your abs are rockin!
