I have always lifted or jogged on and off since I was in the Marine Corp. But the older I get the more the weight keeps going on my body. I need to lose it!!!

I want to complete a 12 week cycle program (possibly Body for Life, this challenge or any other) I want to get to 200lbs and have my waist below 34" again.I was thin and it decent shape during my twenties. But started to gain weight around thirty and have put on about 10-15lbs year to balloon up to my current heaviest weight at the age of 39 (40 in 7 months). I want to get in great shape and improve my self image.

As long as you are making progress, that is always a good thing. It may not always come as fast as you'd like. A couple weeks I had no progress, but I just focused on the next week and results started showing. Take care.
