Background
Just started out with a couple of mates. They droped out and I kept going. Just for smth to do at first, maintain a level of fitness. Looking back, there wasnt reallt anything to maintain. I had a terrible routine and diet. Went to the gym for some time figuring that if I ate salads and worked out Id look like Arnie in no time, lol. Getting ideas into my thick head were hard but slowly over the years I have sorted my routine and diet and am totally addicted to the sport.
The feeling after a great workout seems to be unexplainable to those who dont lift. The feeling of overcoming, bettering yourelf, facing and beating both physical and mental challanges on, some weeks, a daily basis. There really is no feeling like that after a great workout.
