When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
I woke up one morning and said this is it. It is my time. It finally clicked in my head. I have the true desire to do this and i will continue to do this and make it a part of my life. I used to be a model; pageants and runway. In the past 12 years i have gained 110 pounds. Who i am on the inside is not who i am outside. I have lost myself in my own misery. I know i am beautiful regardless of my size but this weight is not healthy. The changes i have made have been significant; in my mind and my health and slowly my body. I am so looking forward to everything life has for me.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel in control of my body. Only I have the power to change my life. Inside and Out.. I have the power!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by a couple things. But funny thing is, you have to really know why you are doing this. You must be sure your motivation comes first from within yourself. You may have people you want to impress or tasks you want to do but if it is not deep inside your heart and soul, once that task or person is no longer in the picture, you lose that fire for a moment. It has to be about you. NO ONE else. Motivators can come from many places but YOU have to be the person you are doing it for. REALLY, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. You will be there always, the other person may not. First and foremost, this is something I WANT to do for ME! I also have some really great people my life that are supporting me and encouraging me everyday. I reached out for help and people have pulled through for me. The changes that are happening in my body and in my mind are keeping me motivated as well. Every obstacle will make me stronger!!
BB Accomplishments:
The fact that I am doing this and succeeding is an acomplishment in its own!
TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND SAY DAMN GIRL YOU DID IT.. and keep going.. to never settle....
Goal (Long):
My goals through this transformation go deeper than just a physical change I have gained 110 pounds. I have always been in shape without having to do much to stay there. Through bad food choices and sedentary lifestyle, i slowly put the pounds on. This not only ruined my body but it messed with my mind as well. Through this transformation i have already started to love myself again. I am starting to except me for what i am at this very moment (it is not 100% but it is fast in coming). My main objective is to prove to myself I can do this. Physically, i want to be the person on the outside, that i am on the inside. Inside i feel extremely sexy, passionate and full of life but my outside prevents me from being free enough to act the way i feel.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 80 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
20%
