When I Started:
Oct, 2007
How I Started:
Was tired of being overweight. Plus a nice little divorce. I went on a diet and things just kinda fell into place. I walked into the gym that my buddy owns and told him i wanted to change my life. I've been on the right track for about 8 months and will never go back to my old ways.
Why I Love It:
My body and overall health is so much better. Now it being only 8 months of working out and eating right and i feel this good. I can't wait to see what i feel like after a few years.
How I Stay Motivated:
Well at first it wasn't that hard to stay motivated. I had my friends at the gym that were always there for me. But then started looking for supplements and came across bb.com. And i've spent hours reading thread after thread seeing everyones progress and some that has started out just like i was. I love bb.com and everyone on here "NO HOMO" haha! i've seen that in a few posts, makes me laugh everytime i see it.
BB Accomplishments:
Well, I can really tell i've put on some great muscle. Nothing that will have my shirt bulging out. But i can deff see a huge diff in the way i look. I was always round! Now i have some sort of the V-shape i'm looking for.

Forget the pain, Just lift. If it was easy everyone would doing it.
I want to get down to 200lbs and around 12-14% bodyfat. I've always been a chunky guy. But I fractured my spine about 2 years ago and i've deff put on the pounds. I love how 95% of the people on bb.com go out of their way to help others. You guys are awesome!
Thanks for the reply. You bet you can make your fitness dreams come true. The secret, if there really is one, is in what I call the “Holy Trinity of Fitness,” which is nutrition, weightlifting & cardio. You need all 3 in a balanced workout program to get where you want to go, but if 1 of the 3 is out of whack it can throw the whole program out of whack.
That was one of the reasons I suggested Body for life, it has all 3.
You can make your fitness dreams come true. I lost over 50 lb’s and dropped my bodyfat from approx. 36% to 10% and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. It’s not super easy but still not so hard that you can’t reach your goals. Challenge yourself and you will get where you want to be and the results will be well worth the effort. Give me a yell, as I would enjoy talking with you.
