I started training for sports and it took off from there.
Why I Love It:
The confidence I gain. Being able to look around at people with more body fat than me and know that I just don't sit on my ass all day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Friends always help me! I know that sometimes I can let myself down but I don't let others down... so when there is someone else telling me to get my butt in the gym when I want to be lazy it helps me a lot.
BB Accomplishments:
Back in the day I had the strongest neck and calves at my high school.
I went from a size 42 waist to 38. It's a big deal for me.
Forum Signature:
"There is something to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But doing such things as passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you still get the same soaking. This understanding extends to everything."
I'm trying to lower my body fat percentage. I'd like to be able to take my shirt off without being embarrassed but I would also like to maintain some size that would make me valuable as a football lineman.
Right now I have to have to maintain my weight. I can lose the fat if I replace it with muscle. I'll be able to start slimming once football season is over.
I've been seeing some improvements since altering my training technique. It's in places I wouldn't see much growth in too. In fact, I'm going to stop typing soon because my arms are killing me! :)
My program keeps changing and evolving. I focus more on compound lifts, but still do some isolation. I also always lift more than one muscle group a day. I lift at least 3 days a week and do cardio at least 3 days as well.
My cardio is biking, swimming, rowing, and sprinting... I hate...
Thanks! Things are coming along just okay. It almost feels like my weight training is at a standstill. I'm thinking I might need to go up in weight a bit or...I'm just critical & impatient : P How are things going for you?
I'm great, how about you? Anything intresting going on?? Me, I've been EATING like a mad woman, really trying to gain more lean mass before I cut for a spring show..Hope you week goes well
