shortly after high school, i decided that i didn't want to be overweight anymore. i reserched a little a created a diet and workout plan for myself. basically, i ate a low-fat diet(back before the low carb craze happened) and did lots of running. i also hired a few personal trainers along the way as well.
Why I Love It:
because it helps me exercise self-discipline. (one of the most important qualities a person can have in my opinion)
also because i've always wanted to be a superhero and this is the closest i can get to it :)
How I Stay Motivated:
surrounding myself with people that have simliar goals. i notice that when i hang out with people that don't, i find it harder to stay strong and not cheat!
by reading stories of people who have transformed their body and looking at their before and after photos.
keeping muscle & fitness for her and oxygen magazines laying around. also by posting pics of fitness models up to keep me focused.
by keeping track of my progress either through this site or on paper. i looove the feeling i get when i can lift heavier the next week!
watching all the hot boys (and girls!) lifting in the gym while i'm workin out! makes me feel like we're all on the same team.
BB Accomplishments:
so far, losing 48 pounds.

"ain't nothing to it, but to do it!"
i am going to lose 35 more pounds of fat (while trying to retain the muscle i've gained) by the end of the year.
Goal (Long):
my midterm goal is to be able to workout in only my sports bra and cute workout pants/shorts at the gym like those fit girls i see! but ultimately, i want big results..HUGE! i want people to look at me and see that i'm fit. i want my delts to pop out and i want big, muscular thighs! once i get to that point, i might consider competing or modeling. but for now, it's a day by day discipline adventure..
from the book, 12 weeks to your hottest body ever by derek charlebois and marc lobliner. and my boyfriend who's a trainer gives me new exercises to do when i'm not following that.
okay so this past week, i was really bad. i mean, i went to the gym 4 days out of the 7, but didn't eat according to my diet feb 2-4. for the record, i messed up not because of lack of will power, but because i ran out of protein and groceries and didn't make time to get...
