First thing I did was cut out soda, and fast food all together. I am 28 and not getting any younger.
I work in 3 month cycles of weight training. 45 - 60 minutes of cardio 5 - 6 days a week.
This will be my third cycle coming up. I am going to double the weight training. I will be running a 21 day cycle of Animal Pak / Stak / BSN - Nitrix
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after I get done working out. It burns, but its a good burn.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading!!! This is the biggest thing. I can never stop learning. Talking to people in the gym. Getting advice. Asking people to make sure I am doing things the right way.
I am now planning to go back to school and major in kinesiology, with a minor in nutrition. This is what I want to do the rest of my life.
BB Accomplishments:
Just getting into the gym. That is the first thing. Being able to walk in the gym, pick up weights, and know that noone is going to think anything about it. Noone is going to say why is this guy in here. Everyone is in there to better themselves.

Keep at it! You've made good progress so far. I understand your desire to become healthier. At the beginning of this year, I was 235lbs and decided my health was going to be in danger if I didn't change my lifestyle. I've made it to 200lbs so far with a little more to go. Feel free to drop me a line anytime. Good luck and never give up!
My wife and I know where you are coming from & believe that you can make your fitness dreams come true, probably sooner than you think. My wife (bodyspace name: judimax) went from size 12/14 to 4/6 and I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36% to 10% bodyfat by following the 12 week Body for Life program. Push yourself, possibly out of your comfort zone and you will be amazed at the results and they will be well worth the effort. Give either of us a yell if you wish.
