  • Hey dude, it might not be usual to ask some questions thru here but im going to go ahead anyways. I have a 15 % body fat and weight 185. I drink whey protein 3 times a day and eat beans and vegetables daily as well. I work out (weight lifting and cardio) about 4 times a week. im trying to cut down my fat % to about 10%. What would you recommend? any tips?

  • You need to really look at exactly what youre eating and when. You need to cut as much sugar from your diet as possible, so that means all simple carbs. Do not drink anything with sugar in it, no white bread, white noodles, or rice. You only need to injest complex carbs such as brown rice, wheat noodles, wheat bread, sweet potatos and so on. That will help you a ton if you arent already doing that. Second thing I would say to do is make sure you are getting 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, so at 185 you need to get at least 185 grams a day. I honestly dont do any cardio, so I cant give you any advice on that. I keep my rest periods between sets very short, so that keeps my heart rate up enough. Diet is going to be 90% of the battle. Really read the lables of your food to know what youre eating. Try and only eat things that are as close to thier natural state as possible. Raw veggies, beans, lean meat, nuts, fruit are all your best bets. The less ingredients on a package the better.

I haven't been able to visit this site as much as I would like latley. I took a new job about 9 months ago and have been busier than ever. I'm still lifting and eating, so that's the good news, but updating stats, pics, and answering questions has gone to the way side.
