Overall Goal: I'm tired of being the fat guy in all my pictures. I've played around with working out most of my adult life. Now it's time to take it seriously so I can really see a transformation!!

When I Started:
How I Started:
I have been lifting / working out most of my adult life and have been involved in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for a few years. Always struggled with my weight, though. Had a bad breakup about a year ago with the girl I thought I was going to marry. I completely lost motivation for many things in life. I stopped my Jiu Jitsu training and almost completely stopped working out. I ate horribly and gained between 10-15 lbs over the last year. I finally stopped feeling sorry for myself and started training again.
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by looking at how far I've come already. I was very uncomfortable taking pictures of myself at first, but seeing the changes in my physical stature really does motivate me. Also, other people definitely notice a change in me as well. Lots of compliments and attention and my ex has recently started contacting me again, although she lost her chance by choosing to be with someone else over the last year..
Feb 2009. 231-233lbs. This is what happened to me after I stopped working out and going to Jiu Jitsu training for a year. I ate terribly all day - donuts, cookies, ice cream, fast food, etc. Taken just right before I started the M&F Rock Hard Challenge. I hate this picture!!!!
This is me on 08/26/2009. I had stopped working out for nearly a month and a half due to an extremely painful back injury. During this time I was very sedentary and my diet was horrible. Got back into the gym in July and I am extremely motivated again.

Sorry I didn't get back to you right away. I've been out of town and life has been crazy. But I hope to get back into my workouts and drop some of this unwanted bodyfat. I may have to settle for a loss of the weight, too, but oh well.
Yeah bud thanx for the add. If you keep up with it you can definatly be a beast. Got good size. Jus hit up the cardio and you'll be good! And diet is hard for me too. No cookies or ice cream hurts. Keep it up bud.
