Brother used to take me to the gym when I was in Junior HS. Through out highscool I was a size 3-5 and avg. 110 lbs. After high school I started to gain weight and I gained even more weight after some major hormone treatments for my endometriosis and some surgeries. My highest weight was around 205 lbs, and thats HORRRIBLE for a 4'11 body build! Off and on over the last year I have been working out but not eating so healthy until recently. In dec. I started cracking down on the foods I eat as well as increasing my gym time. Ive lost about 25 lbs since december of 2008 and I want to lose more!
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of being healthy! It makes m a more confident person.
How I Stay Motivated:
Pictures of myself from a year ago! 205lbs, yuck! I also stay in touch on a regular basis with positive people who are always giving me their advice and support.

What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
Cleanliness!!!!!! It doesnt have to be perfect but it would be nice not to see dust on the machines, left over sweat and dirt on seats and machines! A wide assortment of machines, free weights, and cardio equipment, and a friendly helpfull staff. I try to avoid gyms that have nothing but size 2 and under women running around in barel nothing and doing barely nothing. I avoid really tiny gyms that are packed with people. Cleanliness!!!!!! Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
I workout at Global Health and Fitness beause it is near my home and the actual gym is open 24 hrs a day during the week. The machines and amount of free weights with the cardio equipment is a plus since I usually dont have to wait to workout! Its clean and the people are friendly. progress is coming along slow and steady, which is good. i want it to last and not be a quick fix. i cant believe that this weekend i will be heading into week 5 and have not strayed once off my diet. oh man has it been hard...especially Easter. Im taking my own food with me for the family dinner...devoted right? So how are you?

i would have to guess around 150-200g a day. My day consists of pills, cardio, protien...lol The most important thing is that i feel great and i have not cheated once. Lets see how the weekend goes
