When I Started:
Jul, 1996
How I Started:
I first got started when my Wife and I were going to have our second child. I did not want to be one of those fathers who ends up on the couch..Barking orders at my kids and not doing anything with them. So went bought a home free weight set. Started reading a bodybuilding book on "how to"...Then just kept reading about it...Magazines..or whatever I could find out how to do more and what works. I had to work through alot of junk but found enogh information to keep me motivated. Learned the basics...Work your individual body parts within three days and take a day off. Keep the movements simple and controlled...stay focused on the body part you are working.
Oh yeah....Stop eating junk...
Why I Love It:
I love how I feel when I'm working out..I love the pump...I love feeling stronger...
I hate feeling lazy!
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep telling myself I will feel awful if I don't keep working out..and getting stronger.
I want to lose 25 pounds of fat. gain about 10-15 pounds of muscle in about 2 months.
Goal (Long):
I want to keep working at changing my physique everyday. to grow in knowledge of living healthier. I am almost 40 and my kids are getting older. I want to be in better shape than i was when i was younger and be a role model of health to my kids. I don't want them or me to be another statistic.
Already solid progress to a powerful looking upper body with the solid work on traps and shoulders, arms and chest. Continued success with the training. Andre
