How I Started:
At the age of 19/20 i was a 32 inch waist, weighed 12.5 stone and was quite happy with the way I looked, but over the past 10 years I have let myself down and let myself go. In the interveining years i met my partner, moved from the healthy surroundings of my parents home in to our own 'can't be bothered to cook' house. Before i knew it I had was a 46inch waist and weighed 19.5 stone. I had no energy and was not happy with the way i looked at all, so i have joined a gym, got myself a diet plan and am on the way to sorting myself out.
I started at college in September 08 not realising how much work there would be to do. something had to give, and unfortunatly it was the gym. After 5 months of not visiting the gym very often i started talking to someone who motivated me to get back to it properly!
After a month of working out again,(started back 13th Feb 09) the weight is dropping off and i am starting to feel better about myself.
I still have loads of college work to do,and a long way to go before i reach my goals, but i now make time for myself!
Why I Love It:
The feeling i get from finishing my program, and hitting the showers afterwards, there is nothing like the feeling of hot shower after a hard workout!
How I Stay Motivated:
Just seeing a differance is motivation enough to carry on and do better!!
BB Accomplishments:
Not so much a bb accomplishment, but i have now progressed from walking very fast to an actual RUN!! i am so proud of myself, 15 minutes solid, 6 mths ago i would never have thought i would ever run anywere!!
