Goal (Long):
I have been obese a majority of my life. At the 2004 Arnold I weighed over 350 lbs. and never went to a gym to do weight training.
I suffered from sleep apnea and had a bulging disc.
I reached my goal of no longer needing to use a CPAP machine due to my sleep apnea and have ran the Cleveland half marathon in 2005.
Current goal is to get down to 15% bodyfat, then train to compete in a bodybuilding show.
My goal after that is to run a marathon.
ALSO - I would love to become a certified personal trainer and do seminars and retreats to help others with their weight loss goals. I became a CTM (Competent Toast Master) through my local Toastmasters group to help achieve this goal.
I started taking a Lifetime Fitness class at the local community college to get me back into the gym and doing things right. We are starting off with circuit training and I hope to progress back to free weights at sometime during the semester.
I competed in it last year, I am truly jopeing it won't be as cold, but I think it helped with my PR on the run! I like running, but with the bench as a challenge, it makes it a lot more fun. Hope to see you there!
Hi RJ Thanks, Wow! what a difference in you photos I hope you are really proud of you self. I will be cheering you on. Keep up the good work.
