Lifted back in high school and all through college, but never really took the time to figure out diet, cardio, training and all that. It was basically just "lift heavy shit" until I figured out the right way to do it.
Why I Love It:
I am the man responsible for who I am. When I look in the mirror each day, I stare my creator in the eyes. I am responsible for what I have and will become, I am accountable for what I will or will not accomplish. I believe in myself, I bow to no man and my only critic of any consequence has walked every mile of this journey in my size thirteens. ~G Diesel
How I Stay Motivated:
Each day is one day closer to the best version of me. I pay my dues everyday to reap the bittersweet rewards.
BB Accomplishments:
Every day you bust your ass is an accomplishment. Don't slack off. Go hard or GO HOME.
It depends. Sometimes I will do high rep work, but use really slow movements to really feel the muscle. This usually pertains to isolation exercises i.e. cable crossovers. Other times I will go heavy and do a regular 10x10x8 set scheme. On calves and abs I usually do higher rep work all the time. It depends. I feel like I am a caged beast sometimes, being prodded and made to do tricks. Society, my captor, barks commands at me and tells me I'm not worth a damn. Like the lion in the circus that is made to...
Hey Rico, happy to say things are going well! I'm here in Vegas watching my husband compete in musclemania pro div and he looked amazing. I'm so proud of him, I will post a pic from his show on my bodyspace page hopefully tonight! Any shows in the near future?
Some pretty good goals! And yes, with the bulk, you should reach them faster... Any precise weight goal with the bulk or body percentage you will not go over?
haha..it's all good homie. when it comes to training partners as long as we got that motivation factor and help push each other then we good! For sure it would be intense especially since you are a beast homie!
Whats been going guy. I see you are doing your thing great progress. Will be in the area for A&T homecoming might have to get a workout in with you or something at the RUSH...even though i was always a YMCA kind of guy...lol
I trained with heavy weights for at least 2 years before actually deciding to step on stage. Most people decide to do a show and then they get serious. I was serious before I decided to enter the competition world. Now, because of the discipline I already have it takes me 12-16 wks to prep for a show. I wish you the best and hope to read you will do a show!!
Pass on the science brah!!! Nice job. I have not gained any weight either. My familia visited this weekend from Fl, NY, Seattle for my daughters wedding. They all were shocked and said that I look great and healthy. Of coures 20 lbs lighter and 6 inches off the waist tells the story. So I guess its working even though I dont see it. I trained with this kid this morning who was actually at my level and higher. It was a good ego booster workout. Keep up the great work brother.
Dang my brother, you got that body down packed to a science. Like that progress pic bro. Its outstanding and those as are mad sick chized. Great job Joshua, lookin great. Keep on rocking it hard brah.
