I was an overweight child. As I reached my early teens, I came to the realization of needing to be more active. I became obsessed with running, doing push-ups and sit-ups. A year later, I lost all that baby fat and now was deathly thin. I wanted to pack on some muscle in order to look more like a manly instead of boyish.
Why I Love It:
I view bodybuilding as a lifestyle of living and eating healthy. It's like oxygen to me. I need it. Initially working out was my self-esteem builder, around assisting me with getting attention. Now, after all these years it's my tension releaser and my alone time. I love challenging myself in order to see how I can improve and change my physique. It's me and the weights going to BATTLE.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by continuously changing my workouts by incorporting supersets, dropsets, rest-pause or changing the exercises all together. By doing this it does not only confuse your muscles into growing but keeps it spicy!!!
BB Accomplishments:
My first bodybuilding competation I placed 3rd in a really tough line up.
Thus, giving me the encouragement to keeping on "truckin" and improve for 2007 and take that same show.
