got hurt in baseball and didnt know what to do w/ myself so I hit the weights, and I loved it. now the competitiveness and the daily challenge of being better within yourself is what really draws me to this sport. Ive busted my ass the last few years and love to see results
Why I Love It:
its rewarding to push yourself to the limits
How I Stay Motivated:
the mirror and other people on this space. The physiques I see are truly amazing, Im glad we all share common goals and objectives. At least people here on this website understand BB/Fitness and what this is all about
will be competing in april 09, maybe even sooner.
I need to bring up my legs to match my upper body, need to add overall size. also, my calves suck so I will be hitting them harder. My upper body looks fine but my Traps are lagging slightly.
Unfortunately Ive had some low back problems and it prevents me from doing deep squats and leg presses. This is very upsetting since I need to bring up my legs. however this wont stop me from making progress, I will just have to find a way to get better, this is why I love body building, its about overcoming obstacles and finding a way to make improvements. Im hoping to make an impact.
Was just talking with Bill Comnstock, and mentioned you -- to find out your already connected and going to meet up on Friday afternoon. That's great! Give my regards to Omar if you don't mind -- great guy, and glad to know you're working with him.
All these NPC shows accept entries the day of the show, so that's not a problem. The San Francisco is at Chabot College in Hayward, this Satuday, October 11, info at https://www.lindsayproductions .com/2008SF.htm. The Sacramento is Nov. 1 -- don't have a url for it but can get you the info.
I'm on the Big Island. Maui is spectacular though, no wonder so many folks honeymoon there. But my island is for the rough and rugged crew, the wild off-road bunch and active volcano enthusiasts! :P
I'm currently doing the program you are...and it's kicking my butt! Poundage is going up so I'm guessing it's working. How long do you do one routine before switching up?
