Goal (Long):
Currently I have been working my body in a general fashion. Now I'm focusing on loosing the belly fat and gaining nice abs and building upper and lower body muscle.
Yesterday was the first real day of my new workout. Wow! I am so sore today, but it feels good to be back at the gym. It was a little hard at first to get motivated but after a bit I wanted to complete my goals for the day. I have been back on my protein shakes and I just recently started...
You are making great strides in your quest for a better body and I congratulate you on all of your hard work. Challenge yourself and always strive to be the best that you can be and you will be amazed at the results and the speed at which they can occur. Stay strong and focused and believe in your ability to reach your goals. All the best for ’08.
Hey man,
Sorry for taking so long to reply to your comment.
honestly there isnt much i can suggest you do, other than keep up the good work and keep pushing yourself. You've done great so far with losing that much weight now just keep pushing and find what works for you.
So keep on pushing yourself and keep up the great work.

Hi, well I gaineed the weight (to 250) about three times, and lost to about 210 each time, but the last time I lost it the right weight, with high protein and a fair amount of exercise. The weight came on fairly fast, each time - maybe a year or two?
Your doing great keep up the good work. Just keep the vision that you want and it is attainable. Look at yourself as if you've already done it and you can do it. Good luck!!!
There may be no better feeling than the one you get after a good workout with weights. Try to push yourself to be the best that you can be and you will be amazed at the changes and the speed at which they can occur.
I wish you much success in achieving your goals.

Just saw your post on the boards about belly fat etc... You know how to do it mate(im sure everyone on here has told you, and you will know) but your expenditure must be greater then your intake to drop the weight. Do cardio and maintain a good diet and youll be seeing the weight drop off. I am in your same boat, but i started my journey earlier this year! Good luck, and stick with it- Persistance is the key!
hey thanks alot rich! i figured that i spent to much money on beer and bull**** over the last 10 years that i might as well splurge and buy some healthy stuff thats good for my body for a change!
Diet is everything at 1st....Keep a good clean healthy diet for the first 6 months a wiets falls off. Also Cardio is a must....I start my day off at 4am with 30 min - 1 hourof cardio, followed by 30 min - 1 hour of weights, AM workout is normally a small muscle group......back to gym at night for 2 - 3 hours off heavey weights. for my 1st six months only cardio for 30 min did not touch a weight
thanks for the kind words. good luck on your goals. good job on losing 65 lbs! looks like you have the same reasons for getting healthy and fit just like me.
Gotta keep up with the cardio. AT LEAST once a day. I started with just walking at 330. And this Sunday I got my mile run down to 7:48. I would suggest at least 30 mins a day. Treadmill, Elliptical, Bike, Stairs. Whatever it is just get some in.
abs is all diet once you get down to the right bf percentage....its taken me years to achieve anything resembling abs lol (mostly cause i didn't understand diet)...just make sure you keep the workouts regular and the diet under control and you will get there slowly but surely
hey thanks for the kind comment and welcome to bodyspace! congratulations on your weight loss!
I looked at your workout plan and it seems alright for a beginner...I think you need to be working each muscle group more than once a week though...personally I try to work total body at least three times a week...and then comes cardio, i like raquetball for its high intensity value but you can choose whatever you enjoy.
good luck on your goals i look forward to seeing your progression!
