Which race is March 15th? No... Not much training happening here lately. I am fighting of a bacterial infection I got, while nursing a beat up ankle back to health. I may do the Mardi Gras Marathon this weekend, but I haven't decided yet. My training was dialed until four weeks ago when I was thrown off course. Good luck on the 15th!

advice??? Hahaha - I consider myself a "newbie" as well. I am not nearly experienced enough to be giving out advice. I have found joining a training group helps a lot though (my first tri club was through my University, the U I go to now for grad school, has a good swim class in the mornings). I have found a couple groups around town that I train with too. Other people's experiences really helpful.

Good luck with your goals man. Keep at it. There is a group of us that runs fairly regularly that meats at Audubon pretty frequently. Might be a good way of getting in better shape. All age and ability levels. Check it out: http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/NOrunner/

Great goals you have listed there. Are you working on building mass while continuing to do tri's? What distance tri's are you doing? Looking great. Best of luck to you.

IM AZ huh? Cool - That was sold out. A few people in gnotri (Greater New Orleans tri club) did the race, and they loved it. What was your time? Man, IM's are so intense. That is awesome!!!! How does it feel to be an Ironman? hahahaha - cool.
