always had an interest in weightlifting and bodybuilding, a new gym opened in my town and i got off my ass and started training there and have continued to do so to this day

you are constantly getting rewarded for your hard work in the form of strenght and size! its a great personal challenge and really tests your character and determination

my progress keeps me constantly motivated, setting myself ever increasing goals is good motivation! seeing the results always helps!

my goals will be never ending, i will always be trying to add weight to my lifts and increase my bodymass! i do not train specifically for powerlifting or bodybuilding and i will not do so until i have been training for 4 yrs (1yr and 3months away). when i have trained for four years i will decide what discipline i will choose to concentrate on, depending on my physical state after 4yrs
antoine inspires me because he has an awesome physique with amazing size, thickness, definition and proportion! this is even more impressive when you consider this guy is 6ft tall! a definate star in the near future!
josh inspires me because he has an excellent physique, a strong work ethic, a great understanding and attitude of the bodybuilding lifestlye and is an all round genuinely nice guy! a perfect role-model in this sport!

learning how to cook properly always helps, use nuts and seeds in your cooking to help give rice and pasta more flavour. use various beans as a source of carbohydrates! dont concentrate on just eating the foods you like! having one meal a day that has food you are not too keen on is a lot easier than having six meals a day of your favourite food! if you constantly eat your favourite foods you will soon become sick of these also. learning how to cook properly always helps, use nuts and seeds in your cooking to help give rice and pasta more flavour. use various beans as a source of carbohydrates! dont concentrate on just eating...more
i started back training on the 17/12/09 after months off due to a back injury. im using this blog to track my progress over the coming months and hopefully i can look back over this blog in three to four months time and see some good reasults. ill post pictures and videos every couple of weeks...
Good work man keep going. Don't worry about the cutting if your losing size but still taking in propper protien then the size your losing is fat! I went from 260 to 188 and I'm at 9.5% so I didn't lose much in the way of muscle. Just a sh@t load of fat.
The injury is severe, could potentially be (strongman) career ending, only time will tell, but whatever I am able to do physically I will be sure to go at it 100%!!!!! Just a long road ahead of me...
I hear you man I ended up with 6 weeks off due to those neck issues, lost so much weight, size and strength. But its better to get it dealt with than making it worse because all of that comes back
ITs been a slow week so far this week, I witnessed some bad stuff on the weekend and haven't been able to put my mind into the training this week, and usually training is what I turn to to get my mind off of this type of thing
