Overall Goal: Just trying to stay ahead of the game and look decent for my age. Don't want to be homebound when I hit my 60's. And it's nice to hear the comps.
Fit Status:
Always changing things up. finished a three week full body routine, currently on a standard routine for a week, then back to full body again
Took a deep breath when I was 25y/o and all I saw were ribs (147lbs). I knew I needed to do something to beef up a bit.
Why I Love It:
knowing you really can control how you look
How I Stay Motivated:
By deciding that I want to be like that guy and not that other guy. And, keeping fit for the wife.
BB Accomplishments:
Always being mistaken for someone in my 30's. That's good enough for me.

Hell yea I ate those donuts!

people are not perfect and through trial and error, we find the good and the bad in ourselves and hopefully learn, move on, grow, forgive and continue with life in a better place. that's what tclary has taught me. good luck to you.
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Okay. this sucks. six weeks ago, i "strained" something behind my left knee. scared me so I didn't do any heavy squat work for a few weeks, also stopped playing racquetball for four weeks. today, I was doing stiff leg dead lifts, and felt a "strain" behind my right knee. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
bad form. funny thing, i didn't feel any pain when i was lifting (the pinched nerve was a result of bench pressing), until the next day.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
i think it is both the squat and barbell bent over row because of the potential to pull out the back with improper execution.
