When I Started:
Nov, 2007
How I Started:
Lifted and did cardio casually in college at the gym. Now trying to pick back up on the exercise habit after being sedentary for the last six months.
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
It's tough to get up before work at first, but now that it's officially built into my routine, it's all good! I don't need a cup of coffee in the morning after a good lift and cardio!
BB Accomplishments:
We'll see how far I can take this in the upcoming months. So far, I've gone from 179 lbs. and 16.0% body fat to 180 lbs and 10.8% body fat... which translates into losing over 9 lbs of fat and gaining 9.5 lbs of muscle. Woo!

Here I am 16% body fat, 179 lbs, and not too happy. Time to start visiting the gym in the morning before work!
After a month and a half (more like a month if you subtract all the travel during the holidays, and moving to a new home)...sorry for the bad picture with flash in mirror.. next one I'll have someone else take :)
Lose fat, turn it into muscle, while maintaining ~180 lbs or higher.
Goal (Long):
In college I was able to cut a great six pack by doing insane amounts of cardio, but my muscle gains suffered and my weight dropped below 165. I've never had a large frame (chest/shoulders/back) but triceps and legs have always come easy, so I plan on leveraging this to build my chest, and doing cardio in moderation to slowly eat away the extra body fat and build muscle. Also, I never consumed enough protein in the past, so making sure I am helping muscle growth by hitting the magic gram/pound number will be at the top of the list.

I typically run with the following workout cycle:

[If you have any suggestions for me, or a workout regimen that really helps to build bulk I'm all ears! Thanks!]
