Overall Goal: Tried my hands umm feet at running ok jogging for the first time – 15 minutes at 4.0 speed. May not sound like much to you but for this non-cardio bunny not even the bogy man can catch me :0)

can some1 plz tell me how to do the side by side photos
i got fed up...no pun intended. fed up w/ using Lamaze techniques just to get up the stairs; fed up with dressing room meltdowns that drove me to tears; fed up with paying two gym memberships and not going. just plain fed up
Why I Love It:
i'm not digging the workout but i've given up my Face Book friend to hang out on BB. i think that says it all
How I Stay Motivated:
hello, have you seen the progress and after photos on this site. i have and i will not be left behind.
my daughter whose closing hook is peace love and fried chicken but for me and me only does she say peace love and protein shake Mommy
BB Accomplishments:
putting my photo on the progress page without covering up my face...that's HUGE

Goal (Long):
i've always been a rather large girl/woman and thougth it impossible to get to a weight i would be proud of as well as a look i could sport in form fitting clothes. i also want to be like a poster girl for women like me, single mother with very active life where all focus is on chlid leaving very little time for self. i need to make a change a real change not just loose weight, been there done that gained it all back too. i need a life transformation total overhaul. i've given myself until my 48th birthday to reach my goal 70lbs lighter and a whole lot leaner. heck if they can do it on biggest looser why not me?
I see images of myself reflectd and that is important because i needed to know that my desire to compete is attainable, that i can take this large out of shape frame and mold it into a lean fit body.
Taking a minute who am I kidding, hour away from my work to give my brain a rest, who are we kidding, work load is a mother and my brain hurts just thinking about the number of projects on my desk but I’m going to take a break, who am I kidding I’m just going to put it in the desk...
Hey fellow old person, I see you've lost another lb. CONGRATS! Any progress is great. It's not easy dropping BF, especially for us advanced age folks past 40. Did anyone help you w/ side-by-side pics?
You know, I bet there's a belt of some type you could wear (like to hang weights from) that could also have a bungie type cord attached to, and hooked over the bar to assist you a bit. That might be enough. Or another person to grab your calves when you first lift up and they assist you a little (not a lot). Either way something to get over that initial hurdle when starting out.
You can buy those at many large department stores. I know for sure that Shopko carries them. I'm thinking more of ways to help you reduce the strain in the beginning to build up some strength while still protecting the shoulder.
I started my transformation journey in January 2009 - my avitar picture was taken in April 2009. I started out at 36% bodyfat, so After change my whole lifestyle, the fat just began to fall off. In april I was still measured at 20%. My abs were the only thing that looked good, so that's why it's my avi :-)
Thanks! :) Do you work out at home or in a gym? If in a gym, some machines have a chin-up assist strap to help you with assisted chin-ups if you are just beginning. I had to do that for some time months ago.
Doing wonderful here. This new chin-ups routine is kicking my backside hard. I have DOMs on the chest and back both ALL THE TIME. I've never done so much same-body-area work every day in a row like this calls for. But I'm doing things I never thought I could (142 chin-ups in an hour last night!).
In response to your belly button comment on my blog:Hell ya, I didn't get my belly button ring until this year. My teenager said "why mom why"? Because I have a belly worth showing off now.
BTW... if I can't convert it then I will have you send me the pics and I will do merge them as side by sides and re-send it to you. I don't have that program at work, so it wouldn't get done until tonight. But I would have it back to you by tomorrow morning.

I feel your pain! After working with acronyms all day long, I go home to kids talking in "text"... OMG, WTH, WTF (like that's somehow better than acutally saying 'what the fuc*), LOL, etc. I always say, you're supposed to text those acronyms not use them as sentences!!
Well the nutrition information or meal plan was good for when i wanted to lose body fat. But for the offseason that goal has changed. I still refer to it, but have tweaked it a bit. The workout format however wasn't going to work for the time frame i have for actual workout time. But I would still recommend it.
The way i got the sidebyside photos was I cut and paste the two pictured next to each other. I have snagit which is a free download that can take a picture or portion of a pic, and paste it to an email or word document.
