When I Started:
Jan, 2000
How I Started:
I started working out for basketball. I played competitive basketball and soccer since I was 5 and up until the junior level. I eventually quit when I realized I would rather workout than play basketball or soccer. Since then my training has kept on getting better, now that I can put all my focus into building the body I want.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding for many reasons. I love how it makes you look. I love the pump and the endorphins you get from working out hard.
I love Bodybuilding also because it keeps you young, relieves stress, and boosts your confidence
How I Stay Motivated:
There are many ways to stay motivated that are very effective.A good example is being able to notice the results of hard work and dieting. It's an awesome feeling when you see yourself on the mirror, and say "wow". That's got to be one of the best motivations to working hard at the gym!
As well as, when people start to notice you have gotten bigger, and especially girls. It feels great when you get people complimenting you, shows your hard work has paid off, its awesome.
And my girlfriend, she is a great support, not easy to accept that ur partner wakes up at 6am sometimes to work out.
BB Accomplishments:
Still to come.

Goal (Long):
All my adult life I have been wanting to have a body I can be proud of.When I was younger I didn't really care about being skinny.I was playing soccer and I would look up to player like Bossis or Battiston(French players from the 80's), who were not as muscly as player from today. But growing up and not really seing my body change(was not really doing anything for it!)was more of a struggle.
I decided a few years ago that I don't want to settle for being skinny.I want to have muscles and feel confident around people.I want my chest and shoulders to bulge up and my legs to pump up under my short.I would like to be 190 pounds, with a low bodyfat %.And be able to do at least 200 several times on the benh press.I know I can do it
It look like by the end of the year it will get close to my target of 200lbs, but only close.
Indeed I wanted to reach that weight to show myself that if I push I can achieve everything, so I will goal it a semi failure, don't want to be to hard on myself;-)
Thank you for the sweet words. I appreciate the encouragement. Im old enough to realize that people and things get in my way - only if I let them, so its really up to me to step aside of negative things.
Hope your weekend is great
Hi bro, thanks very much for the encouragement. I'm training for the Belfast marathon on the 4th May (probably end up walking it) so it's hard to give 100% to both programs (stronglifts.com) for the weights. I'll focus on the weightlifting after the marathon though.
You look great in your image IMG_10052, I think it's your best one. You look relaxed so it's more natural but you look in top shape. I've seen how hard it is for thinner guys to add muscle so fair play.
