I've always been interested in fitness, and have had periods of time where I have trained with a purpose, but I got very serious about training 2 years ago, when a co-worker asked me to compete in a fitness event with her.
Why I Love It:
I truly enjoy how I feel after working out, and I was excited to see what I was capable of achieving when I competed 2 years ago.
How I Stay Motivated:
Honestly, motivation isn't so tough, it's finding the time & places to work out with my new schedule. Not being able to even get to a treadmill because of work is a new obstacle that I am working to overcome.
BB Accomplishments:
Competing in the Women's Tri Fitness in Vegas in July '06! (AND not being last in my group!) For someone who never did any athletic competitions, even when I was younger, it was a huge accomplishment for me.

Hey Fellow Flyer! It's NOT easy!! I pre plan everything! Being on call it's even more difficult because I don't have a line. However, you can do it with planning ahead. I cook about 2-3 times a week and bring all my own food with me. Never eat crew meals, try to still use the hotel fitness centers even when I'm fatigued-which is often. :( You probably already know something isn't right when you have 14 hour days but only 10 hours rest! Shouldn't it be the other way around??! :D
