I was in a horrible car accident the fall of 2002 and lost a considerable amount of weight, almost unhealthy. I wanted to not be that tiny small guy any more and started to work toward my goal of 200 lbs at the time I was around 150 lbs
Why I Love It:
Because it makes me feel good inside and helps my self esteem out when people compliment me on my transformation.
How I Stay Motivated:
By looking at other people around stores, and in public in general and not wanting to ever look that over weight ever. And not wanting look like an anorexic stick figure either. Also by setting a goal for myself that is not too unrealistic and trying my hardest to fulfill that goal.
Well I have decided to compete in the Texas Shredder Classic next April, time to kick it up few notches.
Goal (Long):
Come January 2009 it is time to start increasing the cardio and increasing the reps with less weight to start the toning process. Hopefully to see amazing results in 2 months.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
4%

Frustrating. I was out for 2 months due to illness and work. Poor diet and steroids for the illness pretty much put me right back where I was a year ago. I am back at it though and determined to get the body I want...and hopefully compete in a year or so.
My personal strategy was hitting the gym 6 days/week...cardio in the morning and weights at night. My diet pretty much consisted of chicken, eggs, fish, brown rice and green veggies. But like I said you have to dry different things and find out what works best for you
I'm not really sure where my next show will be, but I'm thinking april or may somewhere close to home (saves $!). I want to take some time to put on some muscle before I compete again. what about you? any shows in the near future? and yeah, TX grad school is definitely a doozey but so far I really like it!
Hey good looking! ;-) My summer is great so far and I am really working hard to get my ass and legs off I think I am finally starting to make some headway there so just have to keep at it! How about you?
Thank you, you too! Good here, been pushing myself with the weights and really picking up the cardio going long distances trying to build up the endurance. Hope you have a great day! Happy Training :) Amber
