I was in the Army right out of high school and that was when I first began to work out... fast forward 10 years and I am just getting back into it, although now, I want to build my body instead of be skinny.
Why I Love It:
I absolutely love the feeling you get when you push your body! I like to do things that I didn't think was possible and meet my goals. Working out makes me feel good about myself and I am happy to be improving my health.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay positive and keep reading and looking for info and also reading bios on others who are doing the same thing as me. I like to hear about other peoples journeys to keep me motivated. Seeing the changes in my body also keeps me motivated.

I want to get my body fat down to about 10% and maintain a healthy weight through diet and exercise. I would like to build my muscles and possibly compete one day.
I am sooo glad it is the weekend... seems like this was one long ass week...
Anyways, it is freaking hot here today... like 85 degrees or something. I love it though. The weather is just gorgeous and it makes me feel good to see the sun shining. It'll probably rain all weekend now.....
I workout six days a week, doing one body part each day.
I start my workout week on Mondays doing legs. I do four sets of each exercise. I always begin my workout with 10 minutes of cardio, usually the elliptical.
Leg Extensions - warm up legs
Smith Machine (squats) - 10-15 reps
Leg Press...
