When I Started:
May, 2004
How I Started:
At first I started hitting the weights mainly for football because I wanted to play in college. While I was training for football I became very passionate about bodybuilding and gaining as much muscle as I could. After my freshman year at college was over and meeting others that shared my same passion and goals, I was hooked. I wanted to learn as much as possible about the body, how it works, and the sport of bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
It is excellent to see your body change and the feel of it changing. Also, it is the biggest challenge I have found in all of sports and competition. It comes down to how mentally strong you are and how determined your personality is. In the end its just you and the weights.
How I Stay Motivated:
There is always somebody out there that is probably training harder and I may be competing against him one day. Everytime I am in the gym, I need to work harder than that person.
BB Accomplishments:
First show was the 2006 Atlantic City Pro-Am. I entered the lightweight division at 149.5 pounds and won my weightclass. The next show I did was this year, the NPC Pittsburg show...things did not go as planned and did not do very well in this show, but 2 weeks later I placed second in my weightclass (lightweight) at the NPC Lehigh show, qualifying me for Nationals!!!
I like Green Tea Extract with EGCG over anything else

What bicep workout has worked best for you?
Most of the time I will start out with the classic standing straight bar curl...its almost a given that it will produce results. I will then follow that up with preacher curls (either with a curl bar or single arm Db curls with my arm on an incline bench). Then follow that up with a cable movement of some kind. What tricep workout has worked best for you?
I love training tri's...I like a lot of different exercises, but I would have to say rope pull downs are my favorite.
