What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
the first hill is hard, but keep at it and itll be easyer as you go. just dont starve yourself, and dont give up. also doing this with a friend helps out alot. it keeps you on track.
monday: in the morning run 2 miles or more depending on how fast i can go in 45 min. after that i go right into hill runs, and a lite work out. mostly push ups and situps.
tuesday: morning muscular strength: push ups, situps, hills, and maybe some relays. supper fun.

i dont really care what the scale says...i want to decrease my bodyfat and lose some inches in my midsection and thighs mostly. its coming, slowly...slowly.
just came back from Branson, stayed on my **** the whole week. so proud of myself. it also helped that they had a gym on site at the resort so i worked out 6 out of 7 days! you will get back in the zone soon!
That's good that you're back into the swing of things. Regarding myself, I am doing good. I am currently focusing on my back. You know, trying to get it wider.
My headquarters is at Ft. Hood. I go down there about 2-3 times a year and go down to San Antonio another 2-3 times a year. San Antonio is a lot better...I'm looking at a position on Sam Houston...I'll be down there on the 25th for a week.
Going good...I haven't been able to do any work though as I am hooked on this web site. By the way...I meant every word...keep up that bootliciousness.
Rebecca...the changes in your body are amazing. I can imagine the changes to your confidence are even more dramatic. Keep up the great work...and don't worry, one of these days you'll be wearing that bikini out in public...just don't do it when traffic is around or you'll be causing some accidents : )
Just like anything else running or exercising in general, you need to go slowly at first as you build up both your strength and endurance, and it WILL come back. It is all about being consistent week to week and day to day, dont worry it will happen!
Right now I am only running in local 5 and 10k's, but hope to get back to where I was a few years ago when I was doing half marathons and 20-milers. Of course I was about 12 lbs lighter then.
