When I Started:
Sep, 2008
How I Started:
Before I had two babies, I was about 130 lbs... After the stress I put on my body I got up to a whopping 253 lbs. Today I am making my way back to feeling younger and stronger.
I have lost about 90 lbs so far in the last 2 years...I want to build more muscle and lower my body fat to less than 12%. I got tremendous success getting off those 90 lbs, but I know that I can take it all the way by using bodybuilding techniques and adopting an elite diet plan. ...I think that this site is useful for anyone that wants to gain muscle and shed bodyfat...that is why I choose BB.com. It is full of so much information and helps me to document my goals and accomplishments on a regular basis. Makes me get motivated and ready to kick my own butt!!!
Why I Love It:
If I don't sweat I'm not pushing hard enough...I'm a simple country girl...outdoors is my playground and the dirt is my best friend...roll in it ride in it...get a little dirty...thats what the good life is all about...my cardio workouts are in the wide open sometimes I use the gym on cold & rainy days :) I love working out now more than ever. I have now made a lifestyle out of this and it has unexpectedly become one of the most important things in my life. I feel sexier and more confident about my body image. It has helped me tremendously on all other aspects of my life as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
Read about it, talk about it, do it...never give up. I am trying like crazy to get my body back and have an even better body than I did before I had kids. I was really thin before I gained the weight. It was only a matter of time before I would kiss my fat bootie goodbye. At that time I had a love/hate relationship with myself...now I don't look back! Every drop in pants size is clean the closet and donate day!!!Yay!!! I feel like a new person and I love myself more.I also think what an accomplishment it will be to have reached my goal. When I reach my ideal weight and bodyfat...That is definitley something I would feel proud of!
BB Accomplishments:
Still progressing...never gave up and never will. This is a lifetime commitment.

We are only weak if we choose to be weak...strength starts in the mind and empowers us to do great things...be strong.
Too bad we cannot choose where the fat comes off first...we can only choose what we eat and how we exercise. Only focus on what can be chosen!
YOU can either make negative excuses or you can get positive results...YOU can't do both!
215 lbs. Size 16W. This was not even my heaviest (253 lbs)size 20W. and look how chubby I am. I had lost about 35 lbs in this photo from the previous October of 2007.
Xylitol hmmm. I just discovered this wonderful natural sweetner and I love it. I use it in making oatmeal cookies, cottage cheese-fruit smoothies, coffee, tea, and lemonade. No more splenda or artificial sweetners...this means no whey supplements with a bunch of chemicals in it. I am now...
