Background

When I Started: Sep 1980
HOW I STARTED:

I am currently fourty-three years of age and have maintained a pretty physical lifestyle since about 15 years of age. It has been hard to find out what really works and I have experienced many trials and errors and sometimes the magazines have been nothing more than a waste of time. I am currently dedicated to getting in the best shape of my life and am open to ideas and suggestions but will only do it the "natural" way. I don't believe in any form of enhanced drug use and I am a firm believer in "old school" discipline to achieve what I want and that nothing beats free weights, hard work, dedication, drive and the inspiration of those around you.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the feeling I get when I wake up in the morning and I am already motivated to grab the reins and seize the day. I am inspired by all the hard work and dedication I see from so many individuals on this site that I can finally believe that we are not the American society that is going to waste and letting our younger generation lead an unhealthy lifestyle on a path to obesity. We are the best in the world and have to live with that motivation and drive in our hearts from sun up to sun down otherwise we are a defeated nation, without goals and no future.
