Overall Goal:  Now that my "Secret Project" is over, I just want to keep up the effort and stay in the gym everyday so I can maintain/improve my fitness.

Fit Status:  is pretty sad and hurt and confused. And that definately makes me unmotivated.

How I Started:
I have been to the gym on and off for about 2 years. At the moment, I'm on again and going strong. :] I just want to get into great shape.
Why I Love It:
Basically, because in the end I will have the body that I want. When I go to the gym and see my strength increasing it makes me feel confident and strong. I am a little girl so sometimes it surprises people (myself included) when I can lift as much as I do. And as much as I hate cardio/running I always feel so much better and more accomplished when I have completed it. So sometimes it is like pulling teeth to get me to do it (I try to find excuses here and there) but once I actually get to gym and complete it, I feel much better about myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
For now I just want to keep up with the cardio and then when I get that where I want it, maybe I'll move on and go back to lifting some weights...but slow and steady for now. The gym is on my way to and from work so I figure that there shouldn't be any excuse why I can't go there, even for as little as 30 minutes a day.
BB Accomplishments:
Well, I don't have any as of lately...unless you include the ability to scarf down an entire bag of kettle cooked potato chips in one sitting. :] Hah.

Now that my "Secret Project" is over, I just want to keep up the effort and stay in the gym everyday so I can maintain/improve my fitness.
Goal (Long):
NOW: LOSE MY LOVE HANDLES!! I want to lose approx. 10-15 lbs. I want to slim down my thighs so that they don't touch, get rid of the dimples in my butt, develop my abs so I can see them for the first time ever (without having to suck in my tummy), build upper body muscle (arms/shoulders) so I can alter my measurements and become more proportionate, lose my love handles and saddlebags. Overall: transform my physique so that I am in the best shape of my life. I want to improve my diet. I am the pickiest person alive so I want to broaden my horizons (a little...) and keep the improvements long term.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 15 lb

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
It makes me giggle sometimes but I guess it's a good thing because they're working or a bad thing if they use too much weight.

Alright.  So I haven't been updating this regularly like I should be...and this update has absolutely nothing to do with working out but...

I got into grad school!!  Yay!

I'm going to be starting the spring semester at GWU in January.  Wish me luck! :]

Workout Program:
I'm working with the personal trainer at the gym to come up with new workouts for me. So far we made a new chest/back workout and I have a pretty good bi/tri workout. Wednesday we're going to do legs and I can work shoulders in somewhere.

You have herd of 6 inches right?? Its when you lye flat on your back with your feet together; toes pointing to the sky. Lift your leggs up holding them around 6 inches from the ground. Instead of lying flat on the ground, "Use a Chair or bench" Same process but more tension to the abs. Then lift your leggs up, "still extending them streight out"Now your toes will be facing out" Bring them to about Breast level. As you relax dont let your feet touch the ground.

The optimum whey is pretty good. The chocolate has a brownie mix taste to it. I've had the vanilla ice cream too, I wasn't a big fan of.

I guess my advice for him would be eat lots but keep it healthy. Eat lots of protein, I usually get in about 250g a day. I would tell him to not make the mistake of overtraining (I did this for a while). And keep rep range in 8-10 for maximum gains. As for looking familar i workout at the 4 mile fork sport&health so maybe youve seen me there.
