Goal (Long):
Iam a very dedicated martial artist. I have been training in the striking, internal, and grappling styles of shaolin kung fu for the past 7 years. Iam on my way to becoming a shaolin disciple.
I often wake up at 5 am and train all day. During work days, I still manage to get in two training sessions a day. I weight lift 2-3 times per week. I love training outdoors and using "unorthodox" training methods to strengthen myself such as running with logs and pulling tractors. I often use a weight vest as well. I love to meditate and have respect for all martial arts styles. Whether it be karate, jujitsu, ninjitsu, boxing or whatever. I train hard but have suffered from many injuries,
I dislocated my shoulder back in september and would like any advice to help heal ligaments. thanks- Randy
Sorry to hear about the shoulder injury. I try to to some rotator cuff exercises just to keep anything bad from happening when I'm going heavy. Really impressive goal list. Are you going to do kung fu professionally, as an instructor or fighter? or do you do it as a pastime you are passionate about?
Thanks for the comments at my photos. As for your question, regrettably, due to my sciatic pain in my right glute and leg, I no longer practice Karate. Now what left for me is to become slow but strong like turtle and enjoy a long peaceful life. But that's me, you young people must keep it up. haha. :D -Kaz
Hi Randy, I did primarily Goju-ryu Karate and Judo. Karate was much longer than the latter. You look great in your photo. Very natural to me. Good luck and take care! :D -Kaz
