Overall Goal: I want to inspire as many people as possible to better health: body, and soul. Bodybuilders are made not born, forged with steel, shaped by affliction and sculpted with cardio. Do it! Live it! Be it!
Fit Status:
Heavy back tonight, cardio and abs I am beat but feel great still have that high from pushing hard.
Started lifting when I turned 30 and found the furniture had been rearranged and my chest had sunk to my drawers. I gained 8" on my waist and 50# by age 42 so when I graduated with my BS I decided to try to get back in shape. At 44 a catalyst pushed me to get in my best shape ever.
Why I Love It:
I love the healthy feeling I get and knowing it will help me now and into the future. I love eating healthy and the whole fitness life style. I love the results I see when I am focused on living and eating healthy. The energy and stanima I have now and plan to keep into my 100's. Shooting for 7% body fat and staying in single digits year round. I don't believe in a bulking phase this is for my health and testimony, it makes me feel great.
How I Stay Motivated:
Faith, family and friends(online mostly).I plan on staying in shape until the day I die so that I can do all I want until I am called home to Heaven! As a Christian I know 1 Corinthians 6:19-20," You surely know that your body is a temple where the Holy Spirit lives. The Spirit is in you and is a gift from God. You are no longer your own. God paid a great price for you. So use your body to honor God." And I believe 1 Corinthians 10:31,"When you eat or drink or do anything else, always do it to honor God." So my healthy lifestyle is a way of proving my worship of God because He says in Romans 12:1-2," Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God. Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him." worship is a lifestyle for me and part of that worship is taking care of the one body God gave me so I can serve Him with it and not myself for," You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own. It isn't something you have earned, so there is nothing you can brag about. God planned for us to do good things and to live as he has always wanted us to live. That's why he sent Christ to make us what we are." we are all sinners deserving of death But God showed His love for us in that while we were still sinners Jesus Christ died for us(Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8) All we have to do is repent and call on Him and we will be saved(Romans 10:9-10, 13.
BB Accomplishments:
I was 240 pounds January 2007 with a 38 inch waist and 44 inch belly.I have never competed but am thinking 2010 I will.

I want to inspire as many people as possible to better health: body, and soul. Bodybuilders are made not born, forged with steel, shaped by affliction and sculpted with cardio. Do it! Live it! Be it!
Goal (Long):
I lift intensely six times a week depending on the cycle and do intense cardio 6 times a week with one day of complete rest. I plan on competing July 2010 at 195-199 at 4% bodyfat.
She is extremely kind and compassionate taking time for others, giving of herself. She is accomplished in so many areas of her life. Extremely fit and as beautiful on the inside as she is onthe outside.
Catalyst = One that precipitates a process or event especially without being involved in the consequences.
It seems the more profiles and blogs I read a here the more common threads I find in those who are making the best progress. There is or has been some tragic catalyst to launch that...
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1110 reps for abs in 9 exercises followed by 30 minutes walking on incline, then 24 minutes stepper interval hills then 24 minutes recumbent bike interval hills.
Tuesday Chest, and biceps
Thursday Back, and triceps
Saturday Legs, calfs, and delts

Such compliments :) It's gonna take me a couple weeks to figure out my calorie needs too. And my gym's been closed a lot too! Fortunately I only had to do one day of weights and one day of cardio at home, but it's actually the university in town's rec center, so they kinda follow the school schedule. Holiday hours will be over soon though :)
Hi Randy so great to hear from you again =) I had a great Christmas got to catch up with a bunch of friends and family members. I've been super busy managing Med school studying and work. I'm planning on taking an extra class next semester so i'll have to redue my hours. I was working 25 hours a week at The hospital but that's too much. I hope you have a great NEW YEAR =)

Thanks Randy :) Figuring out the right amount of calories has always been the hardest thing for me. Right now I'm at 1900, but I feel pretty hungry at the end of the day! LOL
That's awesome that you're competing, I've heard its quite addicting :) I'm so excited to get on stage, I've always been on the shy side, so it'll be a nice change for me!! Anyways keep up all that hard work, you look great, nice and cut!!!
